The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) no longer sponsors countywide tire collections, but does offer "consensual used tire removal."
Occasionally, the Illinois EPA sponsors hazardous waste collection days in different communities throughout the state. A list of permanent hazardous waste collection facilities is available at the IEPA website.
