CHAMPAIGN, IL - The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) will be hosting child COVID vaccination clinics beginning this week for those ages 6 months to 4 years old. Clinics will be held Thursday and Friday with both Pfizer and Moderna vaccine available.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is now recommending everyone 6 months of age and older be vaccinated for COVID-19. According to the CDC, children will receive a smaller dose of the COVID-19 vaccine than teens and adults that is the right amount for their age group.
