The Public Health Database is a comprehensive collection of demographic information, health statistics, health behaviors and health care utilization indicators of the Champaign County and Champaign-Urbana areas as well as the State of Illinois.

In addition to the information in our database there is information available from the Youth Risk Behavior Study available. This information is provided by State Board of Education and their partner the Child Health Data Lab and is for 2007.

Topics included in the YRBS are
• Behaviors that result in unintentional injuries and violence
• Tobacco use
• Alcohol and other drug use
• Sexual behaviors that result in HIV infection, other sexually transmitted diseases, and unintended pregnancies
• Dietary behaviors and
• Physical activity
