Volunteer Dentists Will Offer Free Dental Exams
Several local dentists are teaming up with Central Illinois Dental Education and Services, Public Health and the Champaign County Health Care Consumers to bring free dental exams to local school children. Children in Kindergarten, 2nd and 6th grades are required to have the dental exams for school.
The free clinic will be Saturday August 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District main building, 710 N. Neil St., in Champaign. No appointments are necessary. Children will be seen on a "first-come, first-served" basis.
