Public H1N1 Clinics Scheduled This Weekend

The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District and Carle Clinic will be Holding Public H1N1 Clinics November 21st & 22nd

CHAMPAIGN, IL- The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) and Carle Clinic will be administering H1N1 vaccinations Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd. The two-day clinic is targeting persons from 6 months to 24 years of age, no restrictions, and 25 to 64 years of age with underlying health conditions.

Individuals who fall into the priority age group of 25 to 64 who have medical conditions that put them at a higher risk for influenza-related complications include those with heart disease, diabetes, asthma or chronic lung diseases, kidney disease, suppressed immune systems, and neurological and neuromuscular disorders.

CUPHD encourages those who will be attending either clinic to print consent forms prior to arrival and to wear short sleeves for a faster process. The consent forms can be found on our H1N1 Flu page. The vaccinations are free to the public with no residency requirements.

To reduce the time you spend at the clinic please print out a consent for for EACH person getting vaccinated, fill it out and bring it with you. Forms are available in both English and Spanish. You are strongly encourage to wear a short sleeve shirt.
