Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month

May is Asian-Pacific American Heritage Month - a celebration of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the United States. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders are at increased risk of developing type 2 diabetes. Learn more about diabetes in this population group by reading NDEP's fact sheet, The Diabetes Epidemic Among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.

NDEP has resources to promote diabetes prevention and control messages in Asian American and Pacific Islander communities.
