If you're sexually active, it's important to get tested for chlamydia. 40 percent of women with untreated chlamydia infections develop Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID). One in five women with PID becomes infertile because of the damage PID does to the reproductive organs. Women in our area have the opportunity to test themselves for Chlamydia at home.
