The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District (CUPHD) gave out test kits from fall (2006) until their supply was exhausted. The tests took place over two heating seasons from January 2007 to June 2008. Results from the tests came in as the kits were returned by the homeowners, with some not coming in until the summer.

The January 2007 - November 2007 data consisted of 150 test results which only contained the zip code. For the season ranging from November 2007 to June 2008, 70 complete addresses were obtained and related to test kit number, allowing geocoding of the results to census block groups. The maps below utilize both of these data sets.
